Rita Greene, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in primary care, urgent care, and telemedicine services.

She is originally from the state of Indiana and is one of 7 children, born and raised in rural Williams, Indiana.

Happily married with 2 children. She and her family have explored living in a variety of places including the states of Arizona, Colorado, Washington state, and now proudly, Tennessee.

Rita obtained her Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona and her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a minor in Community Health Promotion at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Rita has over 20 years experience in the nursing and medical field, with many years in medical intensive care, orthopedic and neurological/neurosurgical nursing and in-patient physical rehabilitation. She has spent the last 5+ years in the primary care and urgent care setting as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is also competent in the field of women's health, primary care, urgent care, and mental health services.

Rita takes a personal approach to patient care by first establishing trust with her patients. She truly believes the best way to optimize health is through shared decision making while emphasizing a patient-centered approach. She is committed to helping her patients and their families to engage in their own care, think positively when it comes to recovery, and look forward to wellness.

In her personal time, she enjoys being active through hiking, water and winter sports, and running. She has hiked the Grand Canyon 3 times and participated in several marathons. She enjoys history and historical site exploration, history books, and time with family and friends. Her most treasured activities are watching her daughters play softball and practicing yoga.
