Brett Wilson APRN, FNP-C is a Nationally board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He has over 10 years experience in healthcare, much of which has been in the acute and emergency setting. His experience and training has lead him to a strong passion for primary care.
Brett graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2013 with his BSN, and in 2020 with his MSN, with specialty in Family Nurse Practitioner. He spent over a year as a hospitalist nurse practitioner, before transitioning to the primary care setting.
Brett utilizes up-to-date evidence based research and guidelines to guide his medical decision making. His favorite aspect of practicing is educating his patients in creative ways that allow them to understand just what may be going on with their bodies. He prefers walking patients through lifestyle modifications and management before relying on pharmaceuticals, when possible.
Brett’s overarching goal in medicine is to promote, protect and prolong each patient’s overall quality of life.
Brett enjoys spending as much time as he can with his wife and 3 little girls. He loves hands-on renovation projects and building things from scratch, fishing, good coffee, food and friends.
