Edith Steele, FNP-BC, is a highly-skilled and board-certified adult care, primary care, and family nurse practitioner at Cookeville Medical Clinic RHC. With four office locations in Cookeville, Gainesboro, Crossville, and Sparta, Tennessee, she provides care for patients at the Cookeville and Gainesboro offices.
Although Edith was born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was raised most of her life in Middle Tennessee. She feels fortunate to be serving the community she calls home.
She achieved her Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Liberty University (LUOA) in Lynchburg, Virginia. Her graduate studies consist in Adult Acute Care. Her goal is to embark on this area of study of expertise and to contribute to the quality of life in the older adult population.
With her personalized one-on-one approach to care, Edith learns how to communicate with her patients and understand their needs effectively. She aims to work with her patients on well being and establish healthy lifestyle habits, helping them live longer and healthier lives.
Edith has over 18 years of experience in the medical field, with many years in cardiac and emergency medicine. Edith specializes in both urgent care and family medicine. She is well-versed in women’s health, weight loss, primary care, and minor surgery.
In her spare time, Edith is active at her church as a Praise and Worship leader in the Cookeville area. She is also a second-degree blackbelt and the mother of two sons. She enjoys long walks and different types of exercise, including Yoga.
