Pamela Ashburn

Pamela Ashburn, FNP-C, is a caring, experienced, and board-certified adult care, primary care, and family care nurse practitioner at Cookeville Medical Clinic RHC. With four office locations in Cookeville, Gainesboro, Crossville, and Sparta, Tennessee, Pamela, who also goes by “Pam,” provides comprehensive care to all of her patients at the Cookeville office.

Pam recently relocated from Clarksville, Tennessee, to love on beautiful Dale Hollow Lake. She has devoted her entire adult life to working in various areas of healthcare. Including pediatrics, geriatrics, step down unit, ICU, medical-surgical, health department, chronic pain, dialysis, and family practice.

In 2002 Pam earned her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Hopkinsville Community Colllege. In 2009 she earned her Bachelor’s in the Science of Nursing Cum Laude from Austin Peay State University (APSU), followed by her Master’s in the Science of Nursing from APSU in 2012.

Pam is looking forward to the opportunity to provide high quality, compassionate, and personalized care to the Cookeville area. She loves all areas of medicine, but is most passionate about high blood pressure, diabetes, mental health, and wellness of all ages. 

She feels honored to be the recipient of the best Nurse Practioner, General Practioner, and Women’s Health Practioner within a 60 mile radius for the years 2020 and 2021. In one year, she received over 500 perfect 5 star surveys and reviews from her patients.

Pam’s loving husband, Dan, her greatest supporter of over 25 years is excited about their new journey. Together, they have four grown children, four granddaughters, and a miniature schnauzer, Da Vinci. In her spare time, Pam loves to fish, be on the lake, photograph, fashion, and paint every chance she gets. She especially loves being with family.
